Weekly Photo Challenge: Reflections

This post is in response to the Daily Post Weekly Photo Challenge. This week’s theme is “reflections“.

***

I’ve taken the theme of ‘reflections’ quite literally this time. The silhouette of Angkor Wat against a beautiful sunrise, reflected in a pond, is no doubt the most iconic of all scenes of Cambodia. I was lucky enough to get to experience this amazing event last year. Getting up at 4:30am was hard, but I would do it every day just to see this view over and over again! Watching the sky go through multiple colour changes was breathtaking. And seeing it in double – both in the sky, as well as in the pond – made it even more spectacular. They certainly knew what they were doing when they planned this temple!
