This post is in response to the Daily Post Weekly Photo Challenge. This week’s theme is “signs“.
Japan has a way of making ‘cute’ things just a normal part of everyday life. After living here for a while, you start to realise that adults are just as likely as kids to have a teddy bear keyring hanging off their bag, or ‘tough’ guys wearing Hello Kitty sweat pants is normal, or cartoon character-themed trains and buses can be seen everywhere!
Tokyo Dome city is an entertainment complex with a baseball stadium, amusement park, shopping mall and restaurants. I was watching the roller coaster in the background and almost didn’t even notice these ‘signs’! I passed a few before I realised they were actually colour pencils. I thought they were so cool that I had to take a photo! Very cute. Very Japan.
